- The ‘2025G’ hashtag serves as a hint that the phone will have 5G network support.
- As for the identity, tipster Paras Guglani claims the phone in question to be Redmi 14C 5G.
- This will arrive as a successor to the Redmi 13C, which debuted in India in December 2023. The Redmi 14C 4G debuted globally this year in September.
- The company is expected to reveal the exact launch date in the next few days.
Redmi 14C 5G Indian model was recently spotted on Geekbench with the model number 2411DRN47I. The listing revealed the phone scored 917 in the single-core round and 2,182 in the multi-core segment. It is likely to boot Android 14 OS out of the box and pack 8GB RAM. The phone could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen chipset.
The same model number was also spotted on the IMEI database and the HyperOS source code. There are reports suggesting the Redmi 14C could be a rebrand of the Redmi 14R, which debuted in China in September and also uses the same Snapdragon SoC on board.
