Mysterious OnePlus phone appears on Bluetooth SIG certification | Tech Tips
OnePlus could be working on a mysterious new phone as it has now secured the Bluetooth SIG certification. This new development comes amidst the company is gearing up to launch the new OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro in China this month and the OnePlus 13 globally, including India in January. Here’s everything about the new OnePlus phone.
A new OnePlus phone could be debuting soon
- The Bluetooth SIG certification, as spotted by 91mobiles, doesn’t reveal the marketing name of the phone so it’s hard to tell if the phone in question is a mid-range or a premium offering.
- The listing mentions the model number ‘CPH2675‘ and OnePlus Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. as the ‘Member Company’.
- For context, the ‘CPH2665’ model number belongs to OPPO A3 Pro, which is available in India. We can speculate the OnePlus CPH2675 (which is in a series) could be a rebrand of an OPPO phone in certain markets.
- Since this is the first sight of the OnePlus CPH2675, not much else is known about it at the moment.
Meanwhile, OnePlus confirmed that its new flagship- the OnePlus 13 will be launching globally, including in India. The phone will make its debut in January 2025. The OnePlus 12 debuted in the country on January 23rd this year and carried a starting price of Rs 63,999 for the base model. OnePlus 13 is confirmed to be available in three colour options: Black Eclipse, Midnight Ocean (will have micro-fibre vegan leather back), and Arctic Dawn.
The company is running a contest on the official website where users stand a chance to unlock the OnePlus 13 Bonus Drop for just Rs 11. There will be a limit of 3,000 pieces on and first come first served basis. To join the contest, interested customers need to hit the ‘Notify Me’ button on the microsite.
