MSI to manufacture MSI Modern 14 and MSI Thin 15 laptops in India | Tech Tips

Taiwanese laptop maker MSI has announced it will be manufacturing two of its popular laptop models, namely, MSI Modern 14 (review) and MSI Thin 15 (review) in India. This is part of the brand’s Make In India initiative and on the occasion of its 20-year presence in the country. The first production unit will be set in Chennai. The company has also revealed the India pricing and store details of these two laptop series.

• Made in India MSI Modern series starts at Rs 52,990.
• India-made MSI Thin series starts at Rs 73,990.

MSI Modern series is for everyday users and professionals while the Thin series is for power users like gamers and creators. The Modern lineup is said to offer extensive storage, reliable connectivity, and long battery life. Thin, meanwhile boasts high performance, lightweight build and immersive visuals. Going forward, the MSI Modern series will focus on versatility and the Thin Series will bring more powerful configurations.
