At the beginning of the 10-second clip, we see how different or should we say, how big the Razr 50 cover screen is from the last-gen Moto Razr 40. Since the phone is already available in China, we know the cover screen measures 3.6 inches diagonally (which is 2.1 inches more than what was on the Razr 40 cover).

As you can see in the video, the bigger screen enables you to do more than what was possible before. This includes setting timer-based hands-free selfies or groupies. You can also see yourself better while taking photos, videos or doing video calls.
This cover screen could be of AMOLED type with 1056 x 1066 pixel resolution, 413 ppi pixel density, 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, 1,700 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The Razr 50 Ultra (review) which launched in India a couple of months back sports a slightly bigger 4-inch cover screen with 417 ppi pixel density.
Here are the rest of the Razr 50 specs based on its Chinese edition:
Motorola Razr 50 specifications (expected)
- Main display: The Razr 50 could have a 6.9-inch LTPO foldable AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, 3,000 nits peak brightness and HDR10+ support. So, it could be brighter than the predecessor, which only supported 1,400 nits peak brightness.
- Internals: Inside the phone, you could be getting a Mediatek Dimensity 7300X chipset coupled with a 4,200mAh battery (with 30W charing) Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and Android 14 software.
- Cameras: The cover screen camera could be a 32MP sensor. The rear camera setup could consist of a 50MP primary camera and a 13MP ultrawide snapper. You could get 4K30 FPS video support on both sides.
Let’s see if Motorola decides to launch the phone with the same specs as its Chinese counterpart. As for price, we expect the phone to be priced around Rs 70,000 as the Razr 40 peach edition also launched at this price earlier this year.
