Motorola isn’t best known for timely software updates. It is still quite behind its rivals in this department. However, the company has been making amends to fill this shortcoming. As a first step, it has been promoting longer software support even to its mid-range models. Now, the list of phones that will receive Android 15 has surfaced online, courtesy of YTechB.

- The Android 15 compatible devices master link is not published on the Motorola website but YTechB has compiled all the compatible devices into a single list.
- What’s surprising is that there are plenty of Motorola phones missing, which might mean the list is incomplete or there could be changes.
- The list of missing devices includes the host of Moto G 2023 models, the Motorola Edge 2023, and the Moto G 2022 models.

- Interestingly, the Moto G Play 2024, which debuted in January is also missing. It launched with Android 13 OS and received Android 14 upgrade.
- While Motorola seems to have upped its game for the Edge series, it is still behind in the Moto G-series and there’s room for improvement. A similar range Samsung Galaxy A16 will be receiving six OS upgrades, as per the official listing.
