Moto G45 India launch date, specs revealed on Flipkart; price, renders leaked | Tech Tips
Motorola’s new budget smartphone, the Moto G45 will be launching in India through Flipkart. The e-commerce website reveals not only the launch date, but also the phone’s design, colours, and key specifications. Meanwhile, a stack of leaked Moto G45 renders show the phone’s colours and design from different angles. Take a look:
Moto G45 India launch date, availability
Moto G45 will be launching in India on August 21st at 12 PM through Flipkart, Motorola.in and other retail outlets. Flipkart is hosting a dedicated microsite teasing the attractions of the Moto phone:
Moto G45 design, colours
The Flipkart page exhibits the phone in three colours, viz., Brilliant Green, Viva Magenta, and Brilliant Blue. These colours were also part of the recently leaked Moto G45 renders by Smartprix.
The phone will sport a vegan leather finish. The phone’s two rear cameras sit on a slightly elevated surface from the rear panel.
The sides are flat with tapered edges. The volume rockers and power buttons are on the left side. There’s only a SIM card tray on the right side. On the bottom, it has a USB-C port, speaker slit, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a mic hole.
Moto G45 specifications
- Processor: Motorola claims the Moto G45 will be the fastest 5G phone from its portfolio powered by Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC. The phone will support 13 5G bands.
- Memory: The phone will ship with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
- Display: You will get a 6.5-inch 120Hz display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a punch-hole cutout.
- Cameras: The rear camera setup could consist of a 50MP quadpixel main camera. The secondary camera is said to be a 2MP depth sensor.

- Battery: As per leaker MysteryLupin on X, the phone will bear a 5,000mAh battery.
- Miscellaneous: We also learned the phone will have Dolby Atmos, Hi-Fi Audio, and Smart Connect. MysteryLupin also shares images that suggest the phone will have a side-mounted fingerprint reader, face unlock, some form of water resistance, tempered glass out of the box, and a built-in Security Scan feature.
Moto G45 price in India (rumour)
Per Smartprix, the Moto G45 India price could be around Rs 15,000.
Although we didn’t get Moto G43 or G44, we had the Moto G42 in 2022 priced at Rs 13,999 for the 4+64GB model and Snapdragon 680 SoC.
Moto G45’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 is an enhanced version of the Snapdragon 695 found within the Moto G34. The G34 launched in India earlier this year with 4+128GB (Rs 10,999) and 8+128GB (Rs 11,999) models.
