Moto E15 in the works, spotted on FCC, UL Demko, TDRA and TUV Rheinland | Tech Tips
Moto E15 has appeared on several certification sites confirming the phone is in the works and could launch soon. 91mobiles has spotted the Moto E15 on FCC, UL Demko, TDRA, and TUV Rheinland. The Moto E15 will launch as a budget phone since the Moto E series caters to this price segment. It will also launch as a successor to the Moto E14 that debuted in June this year.
Moto E15 spotted on FCC, UL Demko, TDRA, and TUV Rheinland
- Moto E15 has been certified on FCC with two model numbers XT-2523-2 and XT-2523-8. These could denote the different variants of the Moto E14.
- The FCC certification also confirms the Moto E15 will come with 4G LTE support.
- The moniker has been confirmed through the TDRA certification, which has the model number XT-2523-7.
- According to the UL Demko and TUV Rheinland certifications, the Moto E15 will come with a 5,100mAh battery and 10W charging support.
- In comparison, the Moto E14 has a 5,000mAh battery but with faster 15W charging support. It looks like Motorola has bumped the battery capacity by a little bit but decreased the charging speed.

Based on these certifications, we can confirm that the Moto E15 is in the works and it could debut in global markets soon. There’s no other information that we know about the Moto E15 yet but we expect it to offer upgrades over the Moto E14. This budget phone launched in June this year so we might have some time until the Moto E15 launch.
Let’s take a look at the Moto E14 specifications to get an idea of what upgrades we can expect. Moto E14 has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone comes with a Unisoc T606 chipset, 2GB of RAM, and 64GB of built-in storage. Moto E15 features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. It also has an IP52 rating for water resistance.
