LG ‘Signature OLED T’ transparent TV launched globally: price, specifications | Tech Tips

LG Signature series showcases the best next-gen TVs the brand has to offer. This includes the OLED TV R with a rollable screen, launched in 2019 and the OLED T with a transparent screen, announced in January 2024 at CES 2024. OLED T is LG’s first transparent OLED TV and is finally available in select global markets. You can check out its price, availability, specs, and key features below:

LG Signature OLED T price and availability (global)

• LG Signature OLED T is available in the US starting this month. The company says more markets will join the list soon.
• LG OLED T price in the US is $60,000 (approx Rs 51,10,800).
• Since the OLED TV R was available in India at one point, we may get to see the OLED T in India sometime in the future. The company hasn’t said anything about OLED T India availability yet. 

LG Signature OLED T specifications, features

• Design: Without the stand, the TV weighs around 60 Kg and its dimensions are 69.6 x 41.1 x 10.3 inches.
• Display: LG OLED T has a 77-inch 4K OLED panel that can be switched between transparent and opaque modes using a button. The screen sports a 4K Ultra HD (3,840 x 2,160) resolution and 120Hz native refresh rate. You also get Dolby Vision and a 4K AI super upscaling feature. All these are powered by LG’s Alpha 11 processor.
• Gaming features: The TV supports 4K120Hz gameplay, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), Adaptive Sync, and less than 0.1ms response times. 
• Special features: This includes T-Objet (Always-On-Display mode with pictures or art gallery), T-bar (notifications, sports updates, weather information, etc), T-Home (available services and quick toggles for apps and settings).
• Audio: The TV has a downward firing 4.2 Channel speaker aided by Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and AI enhancements.
• Connectivity: All I/O ports and modules are part of a separate ‘Zero Connect’ box that includes HDMI (with QMS (quick media switching) and eARC), Bluetooth 5.1, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 6E and Ethernet.
