The iQOO Z9s series, consisting of the iQOO Z9s and iQOO Z9s Pro, are debuting in India on August 21st. Although the complete specifications and features of these phones will be revealed at the launch, iQOO has now come up with the charging capacity, IP rating, and a few more details. Notably, their camera capacity and display details, alongside their design, were revealed recently. Here are some official details of the iQOO Z9s series.
iQOO Z9s, iQOO Z9s Pro battery, IP rating
- Via the landing page, it has been revealed that the iQOO Z9s will include a 5,500mAh battery. However, the fast charging support of the upcoming smartphone hasn’t been revealed yet.
- On the other hand, the iQOO Z9s Pro will house a 5,500mAh battery and will also be equipped with 80W fast charging support.
- Both the iQOO Z9s series phones will feature a slim profile with a thickness of 7.49mm and an IP64 water and dust resistance rating.
iQOO Z9s, iQOO Z9s Pro specifications
The iQOO Z9s and iQOO Z9s Pro will offer a 3D curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. While the iQOO Z9s is anticipated to boast 1,800 nits of peak brightness, the Pro variant is confirmed to come with 4500 nits of peak brightness.
In terms of chipset, the iQOO Z9s will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, which also powers the CMF Phone 1. Meanwhile, the iQOO Z9s Pro will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, also seen on phones like the Motorola Edge 50 Pro and Vivo V40 series.
The iQOO Z9s series will come with a dual-camera setup. The vanilla variant will consist of an OIS-enabled 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor and a 2MP portrait camera. On the other hand, the iQOO Z9s Pro will offer the same primary camera but flaunt an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. Additionally, the camera setup will feature AI Photo Enhance and AI Erase.
The upcoming iQOO Z9s is confirmed to launch in India in Titanium Matte and Onyx Green colours, and the iQOO Z9s Pro will be offered in Luxe Marble and Flamboyant Orange colour options.

Though not confirmed, some reports hint that the upcoming smartphones might be priced between Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000 for Indian consumers. However, it is worth noting that it is based on speculations, and the company will reveal the pricing details at the launch. Stay tuned for more updates.
