iQOO Neo 10 series launch teaser reveals a dual-tone design with modified camera island | Tech Tips
The iQOO Neo 10 series is set to launch later this month. Although, the exact launch date is yet to be revealed, the Vivo sub-brand has started dropping teasers on its Weibo handle. The Neo 10 lineup is expected to consist of a standard and Pro model. These will arrive as the successor to the last year’s iQOO Neo 9 duo. Now, we have got a first look at the iQOO Neo 10’s design and some key details.
iQOO Neo 10 series design teased
- As per the teaser poster shared by iQOO, the Neo 10 series has a flat frame with a metal-like finish. However, it seems to be plastic as there are not antenna lines that is found on phones with a metal chassis.
- The power button located on the right side could likely double up as a fingerprint scanner.
- The back panel now has a rectangular module with two squarish islands that now house the camera sensors. To recall, the iQOO Neo 9 duo has camera rings placed separately.
- The teaser confirms support for optical image stabilisation (OIS) on the upcoming offerings.
- There’s also a ‘Neo Time To Play’ text below the camera island.
- The teaser reveals the iQOO Neo 10 series with a dual-tone back panel comprising of Orange and Grey colours. The smartphone’s predecessor was offered in Red and White dual-tone shade with a leather textured back panel.
- The design corroborates a recently leaked schematic of the Neo 10 series.
- Meanwhile, iQOO Product Manager in a Weibo post states that the the phones will use industry’s strongest self-developed gaming chip for unparalleled super-resolution and super-frame experience.
- iQOO has opened the pre-reservations of the Neo 10 series smartphones in China through the brand’s official website and online retailers. This hints at an impending launch in the coming days.
The iQOO Neo 9 Pro was introduced in India in February this year. The standard variant did not make its way to the country. It remains to be seen if anything changes with the Neo 10 series for the Indian market.
