What’s new on the iQOO 13?
iQOO 13 arrives as a successor to the iQOO 12 from last year. The display size is slightly larger from a 6.78-inch on the iQOO 12 to a 6.82-inch panel on the new model. The screen resolution is also bumped from a 1.5K panel to a 2K screen and this should offer crisp and sharp visuals.
The chipset is bumped to the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. There will be notable performance improvements be it while multitasking or top-end gaming. We also get the latest OriginOS 5.0 custom skin out of the box. The battery department also sees a jump from a 5,000mAh cell on the predecessor to a larger 6150mAh capacity. However, the fast-charging speed remains the same at 120W.
The iQOO 13’s primary camera is a 50MP Sony IMX921 compared to a 50MP Omnivision OV50H lens. The 64MP telephoto lens on iQOO 12 is replaced with a 50MP Sony IMX816 telephoto lens. The front camera is upgraded from a 16MP lens to a 32MP shooter. We also get an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor this time around. This will offer better accuracy and are more secure than regular optical sensors.
