- We see the larger square module on the back to house the camera sensors and an LED flash. There is also a glowing ring around the module that should light up for alters, notifications, etc.
- There is a microsite on Amazon, which confirms how the iQOO 13 is the world’s first Q10 2K ultra EyeCare LTPO display with a 144Hz refresh rate.
- The flagship will also have the in-house supercomputing Q2 chipset, which is claimed to offer 144 FPS gaming and 2K super-resolution.
iQOO Neo 10 series may feature Q2 chip
Speaking of the Q2 chip, the iQOO Neo series China product manager ‘Neo_beta’ hinted the upcoming iQOO Neo 10 series will offer dual-core performance, suggesting the inclusion of an in-house chipset in addition to the actual processor. Although the executive hasn’t specifically mentioned anything about the secondary chip, it is believed to be (via) the Q2 chipset that is present on the iQOO 13.
In a Weibo post, the executive said that the in-house chipset has become a pretty standard feature on its flagships. He clarified the upcoming Neo series models will continue to have the “industry’s strongest” self-developed e-sports chip. This will enhance the performance and offer a super-frame experience.
The vanilla iQOO 13 is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, the Pro variant is rumoured to get the MediaTek Dimensisty 9400. The phones recently appeared on 3C certification and will reportedly have 120W fast charging. Rumours say the Neo 10 series will debut in China at this month’s end. We should know the exact date soon.
The iQOO Neo 9 Pro (iQOO Neo 9 in China) debuted in India in February this year, so there are chances the successor might also be unveiled around the same time. It remains to be seen if we will see the vanilla model in the country this time around.
