The alleged iPhone 17 Pro series frame that was leaked recently suggested that Apple may finally bring design changes to the camera module. The images hinted the Cupertino giant may adopt a Pixel-like horizontal layout, a shift from the current squarish module. Now, the concept renders of the iPhone 17 Pro Max have surfaced online and these show off what the design of the phone might look like.

• The images surfaced from a Russian YouTube video and are concept-based renders, which look to have been made basis the leaks.
• This will be the first major design change since the iPhone 11 Pro series in 2019, considering Apple is indeed planning a makeover.

• For context, the alleged iPhone 17 series frame recently leaked on Weibo, courtesy of details from supply chain sources.
• The purported renders show the iPhone 17 Pro Max will have a large horizontal layout at the top portion to house the camera sensors. The design resembles the Google Pixel series.
• Earlier reports hinted the ultra-wide-angle lens will be placed in the centre, with the main and telephoto sensor and an LED flash module accompanying it.
• Moving past the rear camera design, one of the images shows the front will retain the Dynamic Island and ultra-narrow bezels.
• Since these are rendered created based on early leaks, there are chance this may or may not be the final design. We should hear more if Apple is indeed planning to revamp the design in 2025.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max is also reported to ditch the titanium body in favour of aluminium, which is also said to replace the glass rear panel in some areas of the back panel. There are also reports of the Pro Max variant also getting a shorted Dynamic Island, which allows for more screen area.

Rumours have it the iPhone 17 Pro Max may get a 6.9-inch 120Hz ProMotion display, A18 Pro 3nm second-generation chipset with Apple Intelligence, and possibly a bigger capacity battery. The iPhone 17 Pro Max could feature 48MP triple camera sensors and a 24MP shooter on the front for selfies. The iPhone 17 series is expected to debut in September 2025 and India will be one of the markets where it will be available.
