The Infinix Zero Flip is confirmed to launch in India on October 17th and it’s the smartphone maker’s first-ever flip phone. While key details regarding its specifications and design have been already revealed during the global debut last month, a new detail shared with us reveals Infinix Zero Flip’s expected pricing which in itself could be a highlight of the upcoming flip phone.

- According to a press release on behalf of Infinix, the Infinix Zero Flip is said to be priced at less than Rs 50,000.
- Along with an affordable price tag for a flip phone, the Infinix Zero Flip may be available to purchase at no cost EMI once it officially debuts in India.
Infinix Zero Flip specifications
The press release also confirms some of the key specifications of the handset which were already known from the global launch a few weeks back.
- Display: Infinix Zero Flip features a 6.9-inch FHD+ LTPO AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,400 nits peak brightness. The cover screen has a 3.64-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,100 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
- Processor and storage: The MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC powers the handset and is paired with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage.
- Battery and charging: It has a 4,720mAh battery at the helm with 70W wired and 10W reverse charging support.
- Cameras: The Infinix Zero Flip rocks a 50MP primary camera with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide lens. The inner display has a 50MP snapper with autofocus for selfies and video calls at the top.
- Software: It runs Android 14-based XOS 14.5 out of the box. The company promises two major OS upgrades and three years of security patches with the Zero Flip.
Speaking of software, the Infinix Zero Flip will be packed with AI productivity features such as AI Eraser for removing unwanted subjects from an image, Smart Cutout for intelligently carving out a subject from pictures, and AI Sketch for creating artistic sketches on the go using prompts.
Infinix Zero Flip alternatives
Considering the Infinix Zero Flip does indeed launch below Rs 50,000, the clamshell-style flip phone will be more affordable than its rivals like the Tecno Phantom V Flip and Motorola Razr 50 which cost Rs 52,999 and Rs 64,999 respectively.
The Infinix Zero Flip has a much larger battery at 4,720mAh. The Phantom V Flip has a 4,000mAh battery while the Moto Razr 50 carries a 4,200mAh pack. Similarly, the flip phone from Tecno has a 3.64-inch cover display which is slightly bigger than Razr’s 3.6-inch outer display.
