The Honor 300 series is set to launch in China on December 2, and the company has already revealed the design of the top-end model. The phone is christened Honor 300 Ultra and looks slightly different from the Honor 300 Pro. You can read about the Honor 300 design impression, its colours and other details that are revealed so far below.

Honor 300 Ultra design

  • Honor has posted the images of the Honor 300 Ultra in two colours, namely Camellia White and Ink Rock Black on Weibo. The white model has some texture work on its rear panel while the black model looks plain and svelte.
  • There is an Honor logo in the bottom left corner. This is clear on the black variant thanks to the contrast.
  • The camera panel looks similar to the Honor 300 and 300 Pro but there are different camera lenses and are positioned differently on the three phones. The Ultra model also has a red-coloured ‘Portrait Master’ stamp on the camera panel.
  • The phone is curved by the edges on both front and back.
  • The curved screen also has a pill-shaped dual selfie camera cutout. One of these cameras could aid in portrait shots from the front too.

Honor 300 Ultra specs: what else we know

  • Starting with the cameras, the “portrait” clicks could come from a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. This lens is very evident in the official renders. We don’t have specifics on the other two sensors/lenses.
  • As for the front, the curved panel could be an AMOLED with 1.5K+ resolution.
  • The phone is confirmed to come in 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB memory configurations.
  • The Honor 300 Ultra could be the only one from the series to ship with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint reader (that could work even with moist hands).
  • Last year’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC is expected to power this phone.
  • Among other things, the Honor phone could also feature a 5,300mAh battery with 100W fast charging support, and Android 15-based MagicOS 9 software

Since the Honor 200 series had come to India, we expect the successors to also land here. We shall keep you posted about the Honor 300 series India launch as and when we have details.
