HMD Pulse Pro reportedly receiving Android 15 update | Tech Tips

HMD is consistently releasing new smartphones but the software update cycle and the roadmap details are not very clear for its devices. However, it looks like the work is silently progressing behind the curtains as HMD Pulse Pro is reportedly receiving the Android 15 stable update. This also becomes the first HMD-branded phone to get the latest upgrade.

• The Android 15 update to HMD Pulse Pro weighs around 3.12GB in size and the image of the changelog (via) shows the list of improvements/features.
• The update brings the firmware version v2.370 and includes the December Android security patch.

• The Android 15 update is claimed to bring a performance boost, which optimises the system performance with quicker app launch speeds, reduces lag and improves battery life management.

• The adaptive battery improvements offer smart power management and extend the battery life by learning usage patterns and allocating resources efficiently. This in turn should improve battery performance.
• The advanced Notification Control gives users more control over which apps and events can send alerts. This is aimed at reducing distractions.
• While the update is rolling out globally, it is expected to be made available in batches. This means it should be a while before the update reaches every unit.
