GoPro, a popular camera brand, has introduced its latest GoPro Hero 13 Black and vanilla Hero cameras in India. The flagship Hero 13 Black comes with four new interchangeable lens mods, a more powerful battery, and more. The Hero is the brand’s lightest 4K GoPro with a screen that will appeal to new and experienced users with its rugged, ultralight design and 4K image quality. Let’s take a look at their price and features below:


GoPro Hero 13 Black & Hero 13: price, availability

The standalone Hero 13 Black camera is priced starting at Rs 44,990 and the Hero 13 Black Creator Edition, complete with the Volta Power Grip, Media Mod, and Light Mod, will cost Rs 64,990. The Hero 13 Black Accessory Bundle costs Rs 49,990 and includes the floating hand grip, an extra Enduro battery, an extra curved adhesive mount, a 64GB SD card, and a carrying case.

These are available for pre-order today through online retail partners, including Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, and Reliance Digital. Pre-order shipping and retail on-shelf availability will begin on 6:30 pm, September 10th. The standard Hero camera is available for pre-order for Rs 23,990, starting September 16th.

GoPro Hero 13 Black: features

  • 13x Burst Slo-Mo: The camera can capture slow-motion video at up to 400 frames per second in HD 720p, as well as 5.3K at 120 frames per second and 900p at 360 frames per second.
  • Larger, More Efficient Battery: The new battery is 10 percent bigger and more power-efficient, extending runtime in all weather conditions.


  • Magnetic Latch Mounting: The Hero 13 Black offers three mounting options with a built-in mounting finger and 1/4-20 mounting threads.
  • Wi-Fi 6: With Wi-Fi 6 support, the new camera transfers content up to 40 percent faster.
  • Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) HDR Video: HLG allows for broadcasting in standard 10-bit and recording in up to 2100 colour spaces, offering a wider colour range than standard HDR.
  • Customisable Audio Tuning: You can choose between balanced, true-to-life sound or a Voice setting that enhances vocal clarity while preserving background sounds.
  • GPS + Performance Stickers: The camera can track speed, path, terrain, altitude, and g-force and assist with geotagging in third-party media apps.
  • Customisation Options: The camera also offers more custom preset options, improved QuikCapture, and other enhanced features.
  • Camera mods: The camera comes with an ultra-wide lens mod, macro lens mod, anamorphic lens mod, and an ND filter 4-pack.
  • The former two are priced at Rs 9,990 and Rs 12,990, respectively, while the pricing for the anamprphic lens is yet to be revealed. The filter pack costs Rs 6,990.

  • Intuitive controls: The camera’s LCD screen makes it easy to frame your shots, and you can switch modes with a simple swipe or press of the mode button. Just hit the shutter button when you’re ready to start capturing.
  • Stunning image quality: The device can capture Ultra HD 4K and HD 1080p video, take 12MP photos, or slow things down with 2.7K at 60 frames per second (2x Slo-Mo). You can also grab 8MP stills from your 4K videos using the Quik app.
  • Wide aspect ratio: The 16:9 aspect ratio delivers horizontal style videos perfect for YouTube. 
  • Video stabilisation: The GoPro Quik app uses HyperSmooth video stabilisation to automatically smooth out bumps in your footage.
  • Long-lasting battery: The camera can record continuously for up to 100 minutes at its highest video setting on a single charge.
