Google Pixel 9 series is set to debut on August 13th globally and August 14th in India. The phones are not shying away from surfacing the web as we are coming across new leaks and reports almost every day. The latest leak now brings us the complete Google Pixel 9 Pro XL price, specifications, and in-hand images. The leak also details the AI features as well.
Pixel 9 Pro XL is launching next week
- An X user Arsene Lupin has shared the Pixel 9 Pro XL’s complete specifications. The live images look to have surfaced from what looks like a Google Store. This means that the stock has arrived at the stores.
- The leak details the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL will have a large 6.8-inch OLED display with 2992 x 1344 pixels resolution and 3,000 nits brightness. There will be Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for protection. For comparison, the Pixel 8 Pro has a 6.7-inch display.
- Notably, some leaks are claiming a 6.73-inch display and 2,050 nits brightness.
- The Pixel phone will be powered by the Tensor G4 chipset and Titan M2 for security. This is expected to bring performance improvements over the Tensor G3 on the Pixel 8/8 Pro.
- Reiterating the recent report, the Pixel 9 Pro XL will boot Android 14 OS and not Android 15. This is because the launch is pushed ahead of the usual October cycle.
- Moving to optics, we get a 50MP primary camera with f/1.68 aperture, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f1.7 aperture, and a 48MP telephoto sensor with f/2.8 and 5x telephoto sensor. For context, the Pixel 8 Pro has a 50MP camera, a 48MP Ultra-wide camera, and a 48MP 5x zoom sensor.
- On the front, the phone is tipped to get a 42MP shooter for selfies and video chats. This is an upgrade over a 10.8MP shooter on the Pixel 8 Pro.
- The leak says the Pixel 9 Pro XL will have 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage option.
The live images shared by the user show the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL in Pink. The display has flat edges and the bezels are quite thin. There is a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfies. The handset has a boxy chassis with rounded edges. Moving to the back, you see a horizontal strap to house the triple camera sensors and an LED flash. One of the live images shows the camera UI with 10x zoom and Night Sight support.
Google Pixel 9 Pro XL price
The X user claims the Pixel 9 Pro XL will have 16GB RAM, 128GB as base storage, and up to 1TB variant. The phone is said to cost $1,100, which translates to Rs 92,300. The 256GB version is rumoured to be priced at $1,200 (around Rs 1,01,000). We don’t have the US pricing of other models yet but the 512GB version is said to cost EUR 1,429 (approx Rs 1,31,000) and EUR 1689 (around Rs 154,900).
Google Pixel 9 Pro XL AI features
Google Pixel 9 Pro XL will come with a suite of Google AI features like the Pixel Studio, which can be used to create images through AI. The phone will get an AI-powered Weather app to get weather summaries with outfit tips.
The Reimagine function will shift an object in the photo into anything else. The X user has also shared a demo of this, where a normal road is turned into a river. Lastly, the Screenshot Search will dig through your image gallery for a specific screenshot using a natural language search.
