Google Pixel 7 series gets a major price drop during the Flipkart Flagship Sale. The listed prices of Rs 32,999 for the Pixel 7 (128GB) and Rs 44,999 for the Pixel 7 Pro (128GB) are already their lowest-ever prices. But, as the title mentions, you can grab them for even lower prices. See how and if you should consider them in this sale.

Google Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro Flipkart Flagship Sale price details

The Google Pixel 7 128GB’s MRP is Rs 59,999 but it is listed for Rs 32,999 during the Flipkart Flagship Sale, which is after a Rs 27,000 or 45 percent discount.

However, if you use an ICICI credit/debit card for purchase, you can get a Rs 2,000 bank discount that drops the price to Rs 30,999. You can find this tagged as WOW DEAL on Flipkart mobile website or app.

Similarly, the Pixel 7 Pro 128GB’s MRP is Rs 84,999 but you can grab it for Rs 44,999 after a straight Rs 40,000 or 47 percent discount. And using the ICICI bank offer (WOW DEAL), you can snag the phone for Rs 42,999.

Note that this is a limited-time offer and could expire anytime. The Flipkart Flagship Sale ends on August 15th, 2024.

The lowest-ever price offer is available for the Google Pixel 8 series also.

You can buy the Pixel 8 (128GB) for Rs 51,999 (listed price: Rs 58,999) and the Pixel 8 Pro (128GB) for Rs 87,999 (listed price: Rs 97,999) under this Flipkart Flagship Sale WOW DEAL (bank offer).

Tempting, but should you consider them now?

Should you buy Pixel 7 series or Pixel 8 series during this sale?

Yes, the older Pixels are cheaper (especially the Pixel 7) in this sale. But you should exercise caution if you’re purchasing the Pixel 7 series. Firstly, it is two generations old now with the imminent launch of the Pixel 9 series. This means a dated Tensor processor, limited software support, and more. The Pixel 8 is definitely worth considering at Rs 50,000 as you’ll get a clean software experience, good software support, and impressive cameras, which gives it an edge over the Honor 200 Pro and Motorola Edge 50 Ultra in this segment.

Those looking for the latest Pixel device should wait for the Pixel 9 series that’s launching in India on August 14th. According to the Flipkart landing page, only the Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold will be launching. If this is true, you should expect the new Pixel phones to cost upwards of Rs 1 lakh. The new phones will bring in upgraded specs, new AI features (which may trickle down to older Pixels), better heat management, and more refinements in various aspects of phone usage. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold, as the name suggests, is a foldable phone.

Here are the expected US starting prices of the new Pixels (the Indian prices may differ).

  • Pixel 9 Pro XL: $1,199.99 (about Rs 1,01,000)
  • Pixel 9 Pro Fold: $1,799 (Approx. Rs 1,50,981)

The Pixel 9 Pro XL is expected to be the spiritual successor to the Pixel 8 Pro in terms of specs.
