The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series is expected to be only a few months away. Ahead of that, the Exynos 2500 chipset has been spotted on Geekbench. While nothing has been officially confirmed, this development has led to discussions about whether this processor will be equipped in the upcoming Galaxy S25 series, corroborating earlier reports. However, the series was recently tipped to pack Qualcomm and MediaTek chipsets. Here are the expected details of the chipset.

Exynos 2500 chipset Geekbench details

  • The Exynos 2500 chipset has appeared on the benchmarking site with the S5E9955, similar to that of the earlier version, but this one includes two additional prime CPU cores.
  • It features a 10-core architecture and has three Cortex-X925 cores at 2.59GHz, five Cortex-A725 cores at 2.25GHz, and two Cortex-A520 cores at 1.75GHz.
  • Notably, the GPU of the in-house Exynos chipset, based on AMD Radeon technology, also sees improvements with two extra cores running at 1.3GHz.

However, it is worth noting that the listing was for an Exynos Reference Design (ERD), suggesting that this benchmark is from a reference design, not a real device, so it does not confirm that the upcoming Exynos 2500 will be equipped in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 series.
