Vivo Y29 5G could be the brand’s new upcoming mid-range offering that will succeed the Vivo Y28 lineup that has multiple models. Ahead of its launch, 91mobiles exclusively brings you the complete specifications and colour options of the phone, courtesy of tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore. We also get a glimpse of the Vivo Y29’s design. Here’s everything that’s uncovered.

Vivo Y29 5G design and colours

• Vivo Y29’s rear design and specs have been revealed through what looks like promotional material. The front design is under wraps, for the moment.
• On the back, the phone houses a large rectangular module aligned towards the left edge and this houses dual camera sensors and a ring LED flash module.

• The handset appears to have a textured design and a boxy chassis with rounded edges.
• Vivo Y29 5G will be available in Glacier Blue, Titanium Gold, and Diamond Black colours.

Vivo Y29 5G specifications

• Display: The Vivo Y29 5G could sport a 6.68-inch display. The promotional image doesn’t specify whether the resolution is FHD+ or HD+. For context, the Vivo Y28 India model has a 6.56-inch HD+ screen.
• Processor: The phone may be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, compared to Dimensity 6020 on the Y28 5G.
• Memory: The Vivo Y29 5G is said to be sold in various options: 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB.

• While the Glacier Blue could be exclusive to 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB models, the Titanium Gold may only get 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB options. The Diamond Black colour option could be common across all variants.
• Cameras: The phone is expected to feature a 50MP primary camera and a 0.08MP QVGA secondary camera. There could be an 8MP shooter on the front for selfies much like the predecessor.
• Battery: The Vivo phone could feature a 5,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging. This is a significant upgrade over a 5,000mAh cell and 15W fast charging.
• Dimensions: The handset may measure 8.1mm in thickness and weigh 198 grams. 
• Others: Dual 5G (SA and NSA), an IP64 rating for water resistance, SGS Certification, and military-grade shock resistance.

Considering the Vivo Y29 5G specifications, design, and colours are out, we expect the launch announcement to follow shortly and India could be one of the markets where it should be available. The Vivo Y28 5G launched in the country in January at a starting price of Rs 13,999 for the model with 4GB/128GB storage.
