[Exclusive] POCO C75 5G to launch in India, specs similar to Redmi A4 5G | Tech Tips
The POCO C75 4G variant was launched globally last month. Now the brand is preparing to bring the 5G model of the same phone to India. 91mobiles has received exclusive information about the POCO C75 5G and also that it will launch as a rebranded Redmi A4 5G. This is one of the cheapest 5G phones to launch in India and it costs Rs 8,499 for the base model.
POCO C75 5G India launch
- POCO C75 5G will launch in India as a rebranded Redmi A4 5G, according to industry sources.
- Separately, the POCO C75 5G moniker has been confirmed through its firmware version listed on the MIUI ROM website.
- POCO C75 5G carries the model number 24116PCC1I for the Indian variant.
- POCO’s C-series caters to the budget segment and offers one of the cheapest phones from the brand.
- POCO has launched rebranded Redmi phones in India in the past, but most of them have been China-exclusive models.
POCO C75 5G: what to expect?
If the POCO C75 5G does launch as a rebranded Redmi A4 5G in India, here’s what we can expect from the budget phone:
- Display: 6.88-inch HD+ display with 1640 X 720 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate.
- Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 4s Gen 2
- RAM and storage: 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage, expandable up to 1TB, and 4GB virtual RAM support.
- Cameras: 50MP primary camera with LED flash, 2MP depth camera, 5MP front camera.
- Battery, charging: 5,160mAh battery, 18W fast charging.
- Software: Android 14-based HyperOS.
It’s still not clear though if the POCO C75 5G will indeed offer the same set of specifications and features as the Redmi A4 5G. There could be some changes but we’ll only know that when the phone is made official. POCO has yet to announce the launch of the C75 5G in India and the 4G variant hasn’t arrived here either.
