ChatGPT can now generate up to two images per day for free users | Tech Tips
With an aim to woo more users, OpenAI has announced that it will now let ChatGPT’s free users generate AI-based images with the help of the advanced DALL·E 3 model. Notably, DALL-E 3 was announced in September, and this feature was initially limited to paid subscribers. Here’s more about the new feature for free users.
ChatGPT now offers new feature for free user
- Through X (formerly Twitter), Open AI has confirmed that free users of ChatGPT can now generate up to two images in a day through DALL-E 3.
- DALL·E 3 is said to be the newest version of OpenAI’s image-generation model and produces detailed and lifelike images from text prompts.
- For instance, users can ask ChatGPT to generate images for social media posts, design personalised invitations, or illustrate unique design ideas with text prompts.
- As users will be limited to creating only two images, this new upgrade may lead them to consider the benefits of upgrading to a paid plan.
In order to generate images on ChatGPT, users will need to open ChatGPT and start a new conversation. Next, they will have to type their prompt, beginning. ChatGPT will then produce the image based on their request, and they can download the generated image.
On the Other hand, OpenAI announced the company’s version of Google Search, called SearchGPT, last month. Instead of showing you a list of search results, it directly answers your question. The response is said to be thorough, with step-by-step details and relevant images.
SearchGPT uses AI, including Natural Language Processing and proprietary GPT Large Language Models. However, the AI search engine is still in the testing phase and is only available to those on a waitlist. We will let you know when it goes official. Stay tuned for more updates.
