Amid the Christmas season, London-based consumer technology brand Nothing’s CEO Carl Pei has announced a free giveaway for his followers on Twitter. Pei has shared that he will give away two Nothing Phone (1) on the platform, but we’re not sure whether he actually means it or is just playing around. But just in case he’s serious, here’s how you can win a brand new Nothing Phone (1).
On Twitter last night, Nothing CEO Pei said he would give away a Nothing Phone (1) for free to a user whose comment on his post does not get any likes. Invariably, it was hard for us to spot a single comment without any likes on Pei’s post. A couple of hours later, he announced a “plot twist” that the person whose comment is most-liked would also get a brand-new Nothing Phone (1). So, in order to win a new Nothing Phone (1), users must reply to Pei’s post and make sure their comments have none or the maximum likes. Hard stuff!
Earlier, Pei had also tweeted that the best meme in the next 24 hours would get a free Nothing Phone (1). However, there’s been no update on that yet.
Nothing Phone (1) India price, specifications
Currently, the Nothing Phone (1) with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage is available for Rs 27,499 on Flipkart. The phone has received price hikes a number of times.
Nothing Phone (1) has a 6.55-inch FHD+ OLED display and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. In terms of optics, the smartphone sports a dual rear camera configuration with image stabilisation methods, including OIS and EIS. The Nothing Phone (1) has a 50MP primary Sony IMX766 sensor.
The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor and has an Adreno 642L GPU for graphics. It is paired with 12GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone houses a 4,500mAh battery, which supports 15W Qi wireless and 33W fast charging.
