Apple hosted the “it’s Glowtime” event to launch the iPhone 16 series. Alongside its latest line of iPhones, the company also debuted the Apple Watch Series 10 and the AirPods 4. The Apple Watch Series 10 comes in new sizes, features, and hardware upgrades over its predecessor.
Meanwhile, the AirPods 4 comes in two variants, the standard AirPods 4 and the AirPods 4 ANC, and offers new features with improved audio quality. The AirPods 4 ANC is the first non-Pro AirPods model to get support for active noise cancellation. Let’s take a look at what the Apple Watch Series 10 and the AirPods 4 have in store for us.
Apple Watch Series 10 India prices
The Apple Watch Series 10 comes in a choice of two materials and finishes:
Aluminium – GPS or GPS + cellular
- 42mm: Rs 46,900
- 46mm: Rs 49,900
- Colour options include Silver, Rose Gold and Jet Black
Titanium – GPS + cellular
- 42mm: Rs 79,900
- 46mm: Rs 84,900
- Finishes include Natural, Gold and Slate.
The Apple Watch Series 10 starts at $399 globally, while the Apple Watch Ultra 2 Satin Black variant costs $799. Pre-orders for Watch Series 10 start today while Watch Ultra 2 will be available from September 20th.

The AirPods 4 costs $129 globally for the regular variant, while the AirPods 4 ANC variant costs $179. Pre-orders start September 20th.
Apple Watch Series 10 features
The Apple Watch Series 10 comes with magnetic bands, replacing the click into a locking mechanism. It is also the thinnest Apple watch till date at 9.7mm and features a microLED display with up to 3,000 nits peak brightness.
The Apple Watch Series 10 comes with the biggest display seen on an Apple Watch yet, even bigger than Apple Watch Ultra. There is 30 percent more screen area with Apple’s first-ever wide-angle OLED display on the Watch Series 10, which make the screen up to 40 percent brighter when viewed from an angle.
The Apple Watch Series 10 comes with a new aluminium finish in Jet Black, Rose Gold, Silver Aluminium colour options. The stainless steel case is replaced with Grade 5 titanium , making it lighter, available in Natural, Gold, Slate Gray finishes.
For the first time, Apple Watch users can play media directly through the speakers. There is 50 metre water resistance and fast charging has also been bumped up which delivers 80% battery with 30 minutes of charging.
Powering the Apple Watch Series 10 is the S10 SiP with a 64-bit processor paired with a 4-core Apple Neural Engine. These smartwatches run on watchOS 11 which comes with new features and watch faces. watchOS 11 comes with new Photos face, Translate app comes to Apple Watch for speech recognition and translation
Health features include a new Vitals app and Sleep Apnea tracking which will measure breathing disturbances. The Sleep Apnea Tracking feature will also come to Series 9 and Watch Ultra 2. Lastly, it lets you check your blood glucose levels without pricking your finger with the infrared and other sensors.
Apple Watch Ultra 2
The Apple Watch Ultra 2 gets a new Satin Black variant and a new loop with a parachute lock.
AirPods 4 features
The AirPods 4 comes in two variants: regular and ANC. You get active noise cancellation, making it the first non-Pro AirPods to get the feature. The AirPods 4 comes with an H2 chip for fast pairing and enhanced audio quality, the same chip found on the AirPods Pro 2.
There is personalised spatial audio and gesture tracking for Siri with head movements. Voice isolation removes background noise to give your voice on calls more clarity, while Transparency mode, ANC and adaptive modes depending upon the environment of the user improve the audio experience.
The device comes with body temperature sensing technology for health tracking. Apple has finally switched to the USB Type-C charging port from the Lightning port to charge the AirPods 4 and AirPods Max. The AirPods 4 support wireless charging and offer up to 30 hours of battery backup on a single charge, a considerable improvement over the AirPods 3.
AirPods Pro 2
The AirPods Pro 2 get health features including features for hearing protection. There is a hearing test to detect hearing loss, with a personalised hearing profile, which would be available on the Health app. The AirPods Pro 2 are refreshed with a hearing aid feature to assist people suffering from hearing loss.
