Alter Ego, Myth Avenue crowned winners of the Acer Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 | Tech Tips

The Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 has concluded with Alter Ego (Valorant) and Myth Avenue Gaming (Dota 2) taking home the Predator Shield after battling top teams from 14 regions. The winners secured the grand prize of $65,000 each, and Acer has revealed that its India office will host the Predator League 2026. Check out the details below:

APAC 2025 highlights

This year’s Predator League was a close contest where Alter Ego’s Valorant team managed to win despite a strong comeback from ZOL Esports. On the other hand, Myth Avenue Gaming dominated the Dota 2 finals, winning 2-0 against Team Helios.

Acer has announced that the next Predator League will be hosted by its India office, showing its continued support for the esports community. Harish Kohli, President of Acer India, officially accepted the Predator League pennant from Kon Tek Yoong of Acer Malaysia during the handover ceremony.

The tournament runners-up and prizes are as follows: 

VALORANT (11 January 2025)

• Champion: Alter Ego ($65,000)
• 1st Runner-Up: ZOL Esports ($20,000)
• 2nd & 3rd Runner-Up: Crest Gaming Zst, Xipto Esport ($7,500 each)

Dota 2 (12 January 2025)

• Champion: Myth Avenue Gaming ($65,000)
• 1st Runner-Up: Team Helios ($20,000)
• 2nd & 3rd Runner-Up: Team Ivory, 123 Gaming ($7,500 each)

The event also featured the Intel Allstar Vote, with special MVP awards going to Cud (Valorant) and Bob King (Dota 2), who each received $10,000. Fans also enjoyed performances from K-pop stars Sandara Park and Minzy from group 2NE1, as well as local artists Aina Abdul and Hael Husaini. A cosplay competition was also held that highlighted the local talent. 

The Predator League by Acer is an important event that continues to support e-sports in the Asia Pacific region, helping to grow the gaming community and bring players together.
