Alleged Redmi Turbo 4 render reveals design; could debut globally as POCO F7 | Tech Tips

Highlights
  • The leaked image shows the Redmi Turbo 4’s dual rear cameras and flat design.
  • The Turbo 4 launch in China could follow the Dimensity 8400’s announcement.

Although the Redmi Turbo 4 launch has been allegedly postponed, a leaked render of the device is here to excite the fans. The image shows the back and the front of the handset. Additionally, from a different source, we also have some hints about the underlying processor and the likely launch timeline of the Turbo 4. Now, since the Redmi Turbo 3 launched as the POCO F6 in global markets, these design and chipset details could potentially apply to the POCO F7 as well.

Redmi Turbo 4 or POCO F7 design (leaked)

  • In the image shared by Weibo user Tech Sailor Popeye (translated name), we can see a dual rear camera setup and the new Redmi logo on the back of the phone.

  • The front has a central punch hole cutout and thin symmetrical bezels. The symmetry of the corner bezels looks similar to how it’s on an iPhone 16 or Galaxy S24.
  • The front display looks flat. The sides may also be flat.
  • The back camera rings also look more minimal compared to the Redmi Turbo 3. These look similar to the Samsung Galaxy S24 back camera rings.
  • On the right side, there is the volume rocker and power button
  • The model in the render has a light grey colour. This may be the Titanium variant. The device may land in other colours too.

Redmi Turbo 4 launch timeline, processor (expected)

  • Another Weibo tipster named Smart Pikachu is suggesting the Turbo 4 could be powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8400 SoC (with up to 3.25 GHz frequency). This chip is rumoured to launch at the end of this month (perhaps on December 23rd).
  • The Turbo 4 launch in China could follow the Dimensity chip’s announcement.
  • The tipster also claims the Redmi Turbo 4 will be a “streamlined version of K80“.
  • As already mentioned the Redmi Turbo 4 could launch globally as POCO F7.

Besides the chip, the phone could also feature a 1.5K resolution display, and a 6,000mAh battery coupled with 90W wired charging support. Its Pro model could carry the yet-to-be-announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Elite processor.
