Alleged Realme GT Neo 7 appears on 3C certification, launch imminent | Tech Tips
After the Realme GT 7 Pro launched in China earlier this month, the company seems to be working on a range of new phones, including the Realme 14 series, a new Narzo 70 Curve model, and a mysterious new phone that was spotted on TENAA earlier today. Adding to the list is another Realme phone that just secured the 3C certification in China.
Possible Realme GT Neo 7 appears online
- The 3C certification, as spotted by MySmartPrice, reveals the Realme phone’s model number RMX5060.
- While the marketing name is not revealed, the phone in question is believed to be the Realme GT Neo 7.
- The listing shows the charging adapter’s model number: VCB8OACH and this will reportedly support a maximum 80W (5VDC 2A or 5-11VDC 7.3A) fast charging output. In comparison, the predecessor featured 120W fast charging.
- Besides the fast charging details, the phone will have 5G network support.
Possible Realme GT Neo 7 specifications and launch timeline details were tipped on Weibo a few weeks ago. The handset is said to feature a 1.5K AMOLED display with flat edges. The new GT Neo series phone could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with overclocked cores. In comparison, the predecessor aka the Realme GT Neo 6 came with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.
The Realme GT Neo 7 is tipped to feature a large-capacity battery with 100W fast charging support. However, the 3C certification showed only 80W charging support. For context, the Realme GT Neo 6 packs a 5,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging. As for the launch timeline, the alleged Realme GT Neo 7 is tipped to debut in China in December. It will look to take on the upcoming launches from iQOO, Redmi, and OnePlus.
It’s been a while since Realme launched the GT Neo series model in India (the last one was the Realme GT Neo 3 back in 2022) so it can’t be said for certain whether the alleged Realme GT Neo 7 will be making its way to the country just yet.
