Alleged POCO F7 Pro appears on FCC certification, global launch imminent | Tech Tips
POCO’s next F-series phones, the POCO F7 lineup could be launching soon considering the series of online listings these days. The phones in the series have appeared on various platforms, including IMDA, BIS and others, hinting the global announcement could be around the corner. Amidst this, a new POCO phone has now appeared on the FCC listing, revealing some key specifications.
POCO F-series is the brand’s premium lineup with top-end hardware and is relatively less expensive than flagships from Samsung, Apple, OnePlus and others. The POCO F6 launched in India at a starting price of Rs 29,999.
Possible POCO F7 Pro FCC listing
- The FCC listing, as spotted by 91mobiles Indonesia, shows the model number 24117RK2CG. The ‘G’ at the end could represent global.
- While there’s no mention of a marketing name at the moment, it is believed to be the POCO F7 Pro. The same model number was earlier spotted on the IMDA certification.
- The listing shows the alleged POCO F7 Pro will boot HyperOS 2.0 custom skin out of the box. This should be based on Android 15 OS.

- We also see the mention of a 5830mAh rated battery capacity. However, the typical capacity could be slightly higher.
- One of the FCC images shows the POCO phone will support max 90W fast charging.
- Connectivity options as revealed on certification include 5G NR, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.4.
- The listing also has a schematic of the phone, which suggests it could have a square camera module on the back to house the rear camera sensors. We also see rounded corners.
While that’s everything about the alleged POCO F7 from the FCC listing, the handset is believed to be a rebrand of the vanilla Redmi K80, which launched in China last month. If this is indeed true, the phone may come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, 2K 120Hz AMOLED display, IP68 + IP69 water and dust resistance rating, and a 6550mAh battery with 90W fast charging.
As for the India launch, only the POCO F6 launched in India this year, while the Pro variant was limited to global markets. So we can’t tell for certain whether the POCO F7 Pro will make it to India or not.
