Alleged HMD Orka renders, specifications and colours leak | Tech Tips

HMD recently launched a new budget offering, the HMD Arc and also added a new colour option for the HMD Skyline. It looks like there’s a new mid-range offering on its way soon as renders and some key specifications of a new alleged HMD Orka phone have surfaced online. These also confirm the colour options of the phone before the announcement. Here’s everything about the new HMD phone.

HMD Orka design leaked

• HMD Orka renders, shared on X by HMD_MEME’S, show the design is pretty familiar. 
• It isn’t clear whether ‘Orka’ will be the actual name of the phone or an internal codename.
• The renders show a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, flat edges and noticeable bezels around the screen.

• The volume rocker and power buttons are placed on the right edge. The latter could double up as a fingerprint sensor for security. 
• On the back, there is a rectangular module towards the left edge and this houses dual rings, where the top ring has a single camera sensor, while the bottom ring houses an LED flash. We see the ‘108MP AI Camera’ text engraved.
• The phone appears to have a polycarbonate body, which is expected considering the mid-range segment.
• The renders show the HMD Orka in purple, green, and blue colours.

Specifications

• Display: The HMD Orka is said to sport a 6.78-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
• Cameras: The handset is expected to feature a 108MP main camera on the back and a 50MP lens on the front for selfies and video chats.
• Processor: While the chipset details are not revealed, it will house a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC with 5G network support.
• The phone may get 8GB RAM but the storage details are not revealed at the moment.
• The HMD Orka may get 33W fast charging support.

The launch timeline of the HMD Orka is not known at the moment but it might be making its debut soon considering that most of the details have leaked online.
