Airtel launches a new data pack with 1 day validity, revises existing data packs | Tech Tips

Telecom giant Bharati Airtel has launched a new prepaid data-only pack for its customers across the country. This new pack costs Rs 26 and offers one-day validity. To recall, the company is already offering a Rs 22 data pack that comes with 1GB of data for one day. Additionally, the telco has also made some changes to its existing data packs.

Airtel customers get a new data pack

• The Airtel Rs 26 data only pack comes with 1 day validity and offers 1.5GB of high-speed data.
• Beyond the data quota, customers will be charged at 50p per MB.

• Airtel currently has four data packs with one-day validity: Rs 22 (1GB), Rs 26 (1.5GB), Rs 33 (2GB) and Rs 49 (unlimited data).
• These data packs come handy when you are out and have exhausted the daily data quota from the main recharge plan.

Revision to Airtel data packs

Airtel Rs 77 data pack: Airtel has also made slight revision to its Rs 77 data pack (which was previously Rs 65). The plan now offers more data benefits to customers i.e. 5GB of high-speed data instead of 4GB and is valid until the existing base plan. Additionally, customers recharging via the Thanks App get an extra 1GB of data, bringing the total benefit to 6GB.

Airtel Rs 121 data pack: Similarly, the Airtel Rs 121 data pack is also seeing a revision. The plan previously offered 5GB of data but with ther revision, customers now get 6GB of data. There is an additional 2GB of extra data if you recharge through Airtel Thanks App. This makes the total benefit to 8GB against 7GB previously, including the app-only benefit. Do note that these are data only packs and don’t offer any voice call benefits.
