At the 7th edition of ‘Acer Predator League India Finale 2025’ held at the NSCI Dome, Mumbai, team Orangutan emerged as champions for the competition in Valorant, which is a first-person tactical hero shooter video game developed and published by Riot Games. This led to the team securing a spot at the Asia Pacific grand finale in Malaysia.

• The Acer Predator gaming league India finale had a prize pool of Rs 6.5 lakh, which is shared among the winning teams.
• Team Orangutan emerged as winners and won a cash prize of Rs 4 lakh, while team Rival Esports settled as runners-up and won Rs 2 lakh prize money. Abdul Azis Ocanada Nandang from the team Rival Esports is being named MVP for PGL 2025.

• Acer says that the Valorant game in India is seeing increasing popularity and this allowed gamers to showcase their skills and strategy.
• By emerging as winners in the Acer Predator League 2025 in India, Team Orangutan will represent the country at the Asia Pacific grand finale in Malaysia, where they will be competing for a total prize pool of $400,000 (approx Rs 3.43 crore).
• This is the first time the tournament will be held in Malaysia since its inception in 2018. The previous editions took place in Jakarta, Bangkok, Tokyo, and Manila.
• The gaming league is claimed to have seen a growth from just eight participating regions during initial editions to currently having teams from more than 15 regions.
