Possible OPPO Find N5 standard and satellite editions appear on 3C certification, charging speed revealed | Tech Tips
The OPPO Find N5 is confirmed to launch officially in February, but the exact date is currently being kept under wraps. The company has been teasing it as the slimmest foldable flagship and revealed key features like the IPX9 rating, 50W wireless charging and more. There is a chance that it could be rebranded as OnePlus Open 2 for global markets. Amidst this, a new OPPO phone, believed to be the Find N5, has bagged the 3C certification.
OPPO Find N5 3C certification
- The 3C certification, as spotted by 91mobiles, shows two models: a satellite edition and the other is a standard 5G model. These bear the model numbers PKH120 and PKH110.
- While the marketing name is not revealed, an alleged live image of the OPPO Find N5 surfaced online (via) recently showing its IMEI number. A quick search of the same is said to reveal the ‘PKH120‘ model number.
- This suggests the phone that bagged the 3C certifications could indeed be the OPPO Find N5.
- The OPPO PKH120 was previously believed to be the OPPO Find X8 Mini but it seems to be the Find N5 foldable.
- The 3C listing mentions 11vdc, 7.3A, which confirms the foldable will have 80W max fast charging support. In comparison, the Find N3 supports 67W fast charging.
OPPO Find N5/OnePlus Open 2: what we know so far
While that’s pretty much everything that is revealed from the 3C certification, the same model number was earlier spotted on China’s UFCS platform. The listing revealed the phone will house a 5,475mAh battery (could be marketed as 5,600mAh). This is a significant upgrade over the 4,085mAh cell on the Find N3. The PKH110 is another variant of the phone without satellite connectivity.
The OPPO Find N5 (PKH110) appeared on Geekbench with scores of 3,083 and 8,865 points in single-core and multi-core test results respectively. The listing hints the foldable will come with Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, 16GB RAM and Android 15 OS.
The OPPO Find N5 is touted to be the world’s thinnest foldable flagship, a record which is currently held by Honor Magic V3 measuring at 4.4 and 9.4mm in thickness. The device is confirmed to feature 50W fast wireless charging and IPX6, X8 and X9 water-resistance rating.
The OPPO Find N5 is likely to be rebranded as OnePlus Open 2 for global markets, including India. For context, OnePlus Open debuted in India in October 2023 at Rs 1,39,999.
