Alleged Realme P3 5G battery capacity and charging speed revealed ahead of India launch | Tech Tips

The third generation of the Realme P series devices might be launching in India soon. Since the past month we’ve been reporting on the specifications and the launch timeline of the Realme P3 Ultra and the Realme P3 Pro. We also broke the news about the memory and colour variants of the Realme P3 5G last week. The latest leak reveals the battery capacity and charging speed of the Realme P3 5G. 

Realme P3 5G: battery capacity and charging speed

• A new Realme device, model number RMX5070, appeared on the Eurofins Certification website on January 17th, spotted by MySmartPrice. 
• It is said to be the Realme P3 5G, the base variant of the third generation Realme P series smartphones. 
  
• According to the Eurofins Certification listing, the device will house a 5,860mAh battery. We’re not sure if it is the rated capacity or the typical capacity. In case it is the former, the device might come with a 6,000mAh or higher typical capacity.
• The listing also reveals the 45W wired charging speed.   
• The Realme P1, predecessor of the Realme P3, came with a smaller 5,000mAh battery but supported the same 45W wired charging speed.   

Realme P3: what we know so far

Based on our previous exclusive, we know that the Realme P3 5G will come in three colour and storage variants.

• The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant will come in Nebula Pink and Comet Grey colour options.
• The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant will feature Nebula Pink, Comet Grey and Space Silver colour options.
• Finally, the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant will come in Comet Grey and Space Silver colour options. 

For those unaware, Realme P1 and Realme P1 Pro were the first generation of the Realme P series smartphones. Realme just launched the Realme P2 Pro as the second generation of the P series and skipped on the base or ultra model. However, based on the leaks so far, Realme might launch three devices in the third generation of their P series: Realme P3, Realme P3 Pro, and Realme P3 Ultra.

There is no word on the official launch of these devices. But, based on our sources, the Realme P3 Pro could launch in the third week of February. The Realme P3 will also most likely launch alongside the P3 Pro. The Realme P3 Ultra, on the other hand, is expected to launch towards the end of January 2025. It might be priced higher than the Pro variant since it will feature higher end specifications.

For the unversed, the Realme P1 and P1 Pro launched in April last year followed by the Realme P2 Pro in September. All of these devices launched under Rs 25,000 and we can expect the same for the Realme P3 and Realme P3 Pro.
