Samsung will launch its Galaxy S25 Series smartphones soon. Ahead of the global launch, reports have hinted towards the Galaxy S25 Series getting new artificial intelligence (AI)-powered features and deeper Gemini integration at the time of launch.

Samsung Galaxy S25 series expected AI features

According to a Portuguese site Tecnoblog, the Galaxy S25 Series will get new AI-powered features such as ‘Now Brief’ and support for ‘Hey Gemini‘ wake word. Here are the details:

• The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is expected to get a ‘Now Brief’ feature which will show relevant information to the users that will vary with the time in the day.
• The ‘Good Morning’ screen in the Now Brief feature will show the weather report and daily energy score, while the ‘For your Route’ screen will prompt users to open Maps and play music. A third ‘Summary of the Night’ screen will show memorable moments and physical activity goals.
• The report also says that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series smartphones will launch Google’s Gemini AI assistant using the ‘Hey Gemini’ voice prompt.

Samsung Galaxy S25 series Gemini features

As per a separate report, Gemini will be deeply integrated into Samsung’s apps, including Samsung Calendar, Samsung Notes, and Samsung Reminders. Here’s how this integration will change user experience:

• With Gemini integration, Galaxy S25 Series smartphone users will be able to create, edit or delete an event. They will also be able to capture information from images to create events in the Samsung Calendar app.
• Gemini will also be able to create and summarise notes and retrieve notes based on title and description in Samsung Notes app.
• In the Samsung Reminder app, Gemini will be able to create reminders for specific time or date, edit a reminder’s name, date and time, and search reminders by name date and time.

It is worth noting that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S25 Series at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event on January 22nd. The event will be hosted in San Jose, California and it will be live streamed from the company’s official social media platforms and its official site at 10AM PT or 11:30PM IST.
