Alleged Realme GT 7 appears on 3C certification, launch imminent | Tech Tips

After launching the Realme GT 7 Pro flagship in China and global markets with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, there seems to be a new cheaper version in the works. A new Realme phone has appeared on China’s 3C certification and the listing reveals some key details of the phone. Here’s everything we know.

Possible Realme GT 7 3C certification

• The 3C certification, as spotted by MySmartPrice, shows the model number RMX5090.
• While the listing doesn’t reveal the marketing name, it is believed to be the Realme GT 7.

• The handset is expected to come with 11VDC-11A output, which could translate to 120W fast charging. The bundled adapter carries the model number VCBOACH.
• Furthermore, it is also revealed the phone will come with 5G network support. 

Realme GT 7: what we know so far

While that’s everything that is revealed from the certification at the moment it is said to have been previously spotted on the TENAA certification. This revealed some key specifications like the display size, cameras, and more.

• Display: The alleged Realme GT 7 is expected to sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED display. This is the same screen size as the Realme GT 6
• Processor: While the chipset details are not revealed, it is said to have a clock speed of 4.3GHz.
• Memory: The chipset could be paired with 8GB, 12GB, 16GB, or 24GB RAM and 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB of internal storage.
• Cameras: The Realme GT 7 could house a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP secondary lens. The certification doesn’t seem to mention any third lens, which was present on the Realme GT 6.
• The front could house a 16MP lens, a downgrade from a 32MP lens on the predecessor.
• Battery: Lastly, the phone is expected to pack a 6,310mAh battery, which could be marketed as 6,500mAh. A sizeable upgrade from a 5,500mAh unit.
• The Realme GT 7 may house an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and Face unlock.

Since the phone started appearing online, we can expect it to launch in the coming days. For context, the Realme GT 6 debuted in China in July 2024 at a starting price of CNY 2,799 (around Rs 33,100) after debuting in India in June at Rs 40,999. We should know more details soon.
