The Realme 14 Pro series has finally launched in India and includes two models: the Realme 14 Pro and Realme 14 Pro+. The key highlight of the phones is the new colour-shifting technology, which as the name suggests changes from a Pearl White colour to a vibrant blue when the temperature goes below 16 degrees. This transitions back again when the temperature becomes normal. Besides design, the Realme 14 Pro series also brings camera, battery and performance improvements. Realme 14 Pro, Realme 14 Pro+ prices in India, sale

• The Realme 14 Pro price in India starts at Rs 24,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model.
• Meanwhile, the Realme 14 Pro+ starts at Rs 29,999 for the 256GB model.
• The Realme 14 Pro will be available in Jaipur Pink, Pearl White, and Suede Grey colours. Meanwhile, the Realme 14 Pro+ can be purchased in Pearl White, Suede Grey and Bikaner Purple colours.
• The company is offering up to Rs 4,000 discount via bank offer on the Realme 14 Pro+ and Rs 2,000 bank discount on the Realme 14 Pro.
• The Realme 14 Pro variants will be on sale from January 23rd at 12 PM IST via Flipkart, the Realme website, Retail stores and the Realme App.
• Customers can pre-book the phones from January 16th at 1:15 PM IST to January 22nd with limited-time offers.
• Realme Buds Wireless 5 ANC are also launched at Rs 1,599 and the sale will start on January 23rd.

• Processor: The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset paired with Adreno GPU for graphics.
• Memory: The handset is available in multiple configurations: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB. There’s up to 14GB of virtual RAM support.
• OS: Android 15-based Realme UI 6 custom skin.
• Cameras: The Realme 14 Pro+ features a 50MP Sony IMX8986 primary camera, a 50MP Sony IMX882 3x periscope telephoto lens with 6x in-sensor zoom, and up to 120x zoom and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. There is a 32MP lens on the front for selfies.

Realme 14 Pro series: what’s new

The Realme 14 Pro series succeeds the Realme 13 Pro lineup from last year. The biggest upgrade this year has to be the new colour-changing design. While it doesn’t add much to the hardware/performance side of things, the aesthetic appeal it brings to the table is quite unique for this segment.

Furthermore, the processor has been changed on both models this time. We get the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy on the standard Pro and Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 on the 14 Pro+. These replace the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset on the Realme 13 Pro models. The battery capacity is also bumped to 6,000mAh from 5,200mAh on the predecessors. The IP rating is also improved from IP65 to IP66/IP68/IP69. The Realme 14 Pro+ also gets a bigger 6.83-inch screen compared to 6.7-inch on the 13 Pro+. 

The 32MP selfie camera on the Realme 13 Pro is downgraded to 16MP on the 14 Pro. The 50MP Sony LYT600 is replaced with 50MP IMX882 on the Realme 14 Pro. As for the Realme 14 Pro+, the 50MP Sony LYT701 on the 13 Pro+ is changed to a 50MP Sony IMX896 sensor. We now get a 50MP IMX882 periscope telephoto sensor compared to a 50MP LYT600.
