Recently, we spotted the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. A slew of leaks and rumours indicate that the device indeed exists. While the Galaxy S25 series is set to debut on January 22, all hopes of the S25 Slim tagging along at the same event seem to have been squashed. The latest development comes out of China and the device is now tipped to arrive in the second quarter of this year.

- As per tipster Setsuna Digital, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim will launch in May this year.
- This means that next week’s Galaxy Unpacked event may only see the arrival of the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra.
- However, there’s still a possibility that Samsung may potentially tease the S25 Slim at the event.
- Last year, the South Korean brand gave us a sneak peek at the Galaxy Ring alongside the S24 series unveiling. The smart ring wasn’t available for purchase until June.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to be between 6.1 and 6.9mm thick. If true, this is a significant reduction in thickness compared to previous S-series devices that measure 7.6mm. The device is rumoured to go up against the iPhone 17 Air that is expected to debut this fall.
As per past reports, the Samsung Galaxy S25 will reportedly be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite coupled with 12GB RAM and run on Android 15 OS. Despite the slimness, the device is still said to have a 6.6-inch display and a battery capacity of 5,000mAh
