Highlights
  • The ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra scored 3,036 and 9,656 in the single-core and multi-core segments.

ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra flagship is set to debut globally on February 6th, which is a month ahead of the March cycle (Zenfone 11 Ultra) from last year. The teaser image shared by the brand hints at AI features and possibly a focus tracking feature during video recording. While we wait for the announcement, the new ASUS phone has appeared on Geekbench and this reveals some key hardware specifications.

  • The Geekbench listing shows the phone has managed to score 3,036 in the single-core round and 9,656 in the multi-core segment.
  • The variant that appeared on Geekbench packs 16GB (14.75GB) RAM and boots Android 15 OS out of the box.
  • The motherboard section mentions ‘walt’ and the octa-core processor has six cores clocked at 3.53GHz and two cores at 4.32GHz.
  • The source code section mentions Adreno 830 GPU, which hints the chipset in question could be the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC.

That’s everything that is revealed from the Geekbench listing. The alleged Zenfone 12 Ultra variant was spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification in November but hasn’t revealed much about the phone.

The ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra from last year shared similar hardware as the ROG Phone 8, which is the brand’s gaming lineup. There are chances the same might repeat this time as well. This means the Zenfone 12 Ultra could have identical specs to the ROG Phone 9, which debuted in November 2024. If true, the Ultra model may ship with a 6.78-inch FHD+ 185Hz display, 50MP + 13MP + 50MP triple cameras and a 32MP lens. It could house a large 5800mAh cell with 65W fast charging.

The ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra hasn’t launched in India so the successor may also not debut in the country.
