• While the yet-to-be-announced iPhone 17 Air is unlikely to match the iPad Pro’s thickness due to its smaller size in other areas, it will come very close if the rumours are to be believed.
• The iPhone will likely not have a physical SIM card slot and will only support eSIM due to its thin design, which could lead to shipping issues in China, as the country does not favour phones that rely solely on eSIM.
• If this information by the analyst turns out to be true, the iPhone 17 Air could become the thinnest iPhone ever, beating the 6.9mm thickness of the iPhone 6, which was announced in 2014.
