ASUS has kicked off the year with a bang and revamped its ROG gaming portfolio at CES 2025. The lineup comes with improved ROG series gaming laptops, mini PCs, new NVIDIA RTX 50 series GPUs, gaming monitors, and more. We’ll take a brief look at each of these below:
ASUS ROG GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs
Built for high-end gaming, these cards showcase cutting-edge graphics performance, offering outstanding cooling, stability, and power. The latest lineup includes the ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 and 5080, the ROG Astral LC GeForce RTX 5090, and the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and 5070, as part of the expanded ROG Strix collection. The RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 feature a quad-fan design for efficient cooling and aid overclocking. The Astral LC RTC 5090 comes with a liquid cooling solution without the hassle of installing a custom loop, and all these cards use a custom thermal pad to improve heat dissipation.

The 2025 ROG Strix Scar 16/18 gaming laptops set new performance standards with the next-gen Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 275HX and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. Alongside these are the ROG Strix G16/G18 models, offering powerful features in a sleek design. They support up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM at 6000MHz and PCIe Gen 5 storage. Cooling options include air and water configurations with a quad-fan system. ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM gaming monitor
The ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM is the world’s first 27-inch 4K OLED gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time, claims ASUS. It uses ROG 4th-gen QD-OLED technology with a 166ppi pixel density and OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0. Connectivity options include DisplayPort 2.1a UHBR20, HDMI 2.1, USB hub, and USB-C with 90W power delivery. The monitor features ROG OLED Care Pro with a Neo Proximity Sensor to prevent OLED burn-in. ASUS ROG Rapture Wi-Fi 7 router
The ROG Rapture GT-BE19000AI is a Wi-Fi 7 AI gaming router with a built-in NPU and a tri-core design. It features game acceleration, network security, energy saving, and network insights. The router supports up to 46 percent energy savings with AI energy-saving and offers Triple-Level Game Acceleration with ROG AI Game Booster, reducing ping by 34 percent. Adaptive QoS 2.0 lets users prioritise bandwidth for gaming or streaming.
