Samsung finally announced the ‘Galaxy Unpacked’ event will kick off on January 22nd and one can pre-reserve the the Galaxy S25 in India. The lineup usually includes three models, the vanilla, a Plus version, and an Ultra variant. This time around, there have been rumours about a fourth new model, reportedly dubbed the Galaxy S25 Slim. It appears Samsung may have teased its arrival through the poster image. Read along.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim teased?

• The teaser image for the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event seemingly shows the corners of four phones.
• This led to speculations that the fourth model in question could very well be the rumoured Galaxy S25 Slim (if that’s what it will be called).

• While some reports claimed the alleged Galaxy S25 Slim will debut in Q2 2025, some said the phone will make its appearance alongside the other S25 model on the same stage.
• Recently, the One UI 7 beta version code mentioned the US variants of the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra but skipped the Galaxy S25 Slim.
• There are chances that Samsung may offer a glimpse of the Galaxy S25 Slim at the Galaxy Unpacked event and launch it in the coming months. 
• It isn’t exactly clear when the Galaxy S25 Slim will be unveiled by Samsung at the moment. We suggest you take these speculations and reports with a pinch of salt and wait for more teasers or confirmation from the brand.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim: what do we know so far?

The alleged Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim was spotted on the IMEI database with the model number SM-S937U.

• Display: The new Slim variant is said to sport a 6.66-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2x display. This should put it alongside the Plus variant, which usually has a 6.7-inch screen.
• Design: Leaks claim the new model will measure around 6.xmm in thickness. This is slimmer than the current Galaxy S24, which measures 7.6mm.
• Processor: Like the other models in the Galaxy S25, the new Slim model could also be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC in all regions.
• Battery: Despite being slim, the phone is said to house a battery capacity between 4,700 and 5,000mAh. This is considerably bigger than the Galaxy S24 which just has a 4,000mAh cell.
• Cameras: The Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim is said to feature a 200MP HP5 primary sensor, a 50MP JN5 3.5x telephoto lens and a 50MP JN5 ultra-wide-angle lens.

If Samsung indeed launches the Galaxy S25 Slim debuts at the Galaxy Unpacked event, it should be made available in India as well. We should learn more details in the days to come.
