OnePlus 13R leaked renders show off complete design and colours ahead of India launch | Tech Tips

OnePlus 13 series, including the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R, is set to launch in India on January 7th alongside a new colourway for the OnePlus Buds Pro 3. Before their official announcement, the OnePlus 13R renders have now leaked online, showing off the complete design in two colour options. As speculated earlier, the design is identical to the recently launched OnePlus Ace 5.

OnePlus R-series is the brand’s premium lineup that offers value-for-money hardware and a clean bloatware-free software experience.

OnePlus 13R design

• The OnePlus 13R renders were shared by Arsene Lupin on X (formerly Twitter). These show the phone in two colours: Astral Trial and Nebula Noir.
• The front of the phone is occupied by a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper and a flat display with narrow bezels.

• The volume rocker and power button are present on the right edge, while the alert slider is present on the left.
• We see a large circular module on the left edge to house the triple camera sensors and an LED flash module. There is also the OnePlus logo.
• The SIM tray section, USB Type-C port, speaker vents and microphone are at the bottom.
• OnePlus 13R has a boxy chassis with rounded corners for better grip. The phone appears to have a metal body for durability.

Beyond the design, the OnePlus 13R is confirmed to arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a 6000mAh battery and will be bundled with AI features. The other leaked specifications of the phone include a 6.78-inch 1.5K display, 80W fast charging, 50MP+50MP+8MP triple cameras and a 16MP front sensor for selfies. 

It is said that the OnePlus 13R is the global version of the OnePlus Ace 5, which debuted in China recently. Both phones have an identical design. The OnePlus 13R will be available in India via Amazon and the OnePlus website. We should know the price and availability details when it’s launched next week. For context, the OnePlus 12R debuted in India earlier this year at a starting price of 39,999.
