Vivo X200 Ultra alleged render and specifications leak much ahead of launch | Tech Tips
Vivo X200 series, including the vanilla X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini, launched in China back in October and was later expanded (sans the Pro Mini) to global markets, including India. That’s not all as rumours started flowing about a fourth new model, the Vivo X200 Ultra. This is said to debut in March/April 2025 as a successor to the Vivo X100 Ultra. Before its launch next year, the alleged Vivo X200 Ultra render has surfaced online.
Vivo X200 Ultra design
- The alleged Vivo X200 Ultra render, as shared by an X user (via), shows the phone’s complete design, but the graphics make it seem look a little shady, so we suggest readers take it with a pinch of salt.
- The phone bears a large circular module on the back panel and this houses triple camera sensors (aligning with earlier leaks), with the Zeiss logo in the centre. The LED flash module is present at the top-right corner.
- The back panel appears to have a textured design (sort of), giving the phone a distinguished look. The volume rocker and power button are present on the right edge.
- Moving to the front, the Vivo phone seems to have micro quad-curved edges with narrow bezels and a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper.
- Since the render leak comes months ahead of the announcement, we suggest you take it with a pinch of salt and wait for the company to reveal more.
Vivo X200 Ultra specifications (leaked)
In addition to the render, the leak also sheds light on the Vivo X200 Ultra specifications.
- Display: As per the leak, the Vivo X200 Ultra sports a 6.82-inch 2K OLED quad-curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 5000nits peak brightness.
- Processor: It could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. In comparison, the X100 Ultra ships with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
- Memory: Up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and 2TB UFS 4.0 storage.
- Battery: The X200 Ultra is expected to pack a 6000mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless support. In comparison, the Vivo X100 came with a 5,500mAh cell, 80W wired and 30W wireless fast charging.
- Cameras: The flagship is expected to feature a 50MP Sony LYT818 primary camera, a 200MP HP super large base telephoto camera with 85mm focal length and a 50MP LYT818 70mm macro telephoto lens.
- The Vivo X100 Ultra has a 50MP one-inch main camera, a 200MP Zeiss APO Super telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
- There could be a 50MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.
- Others: IP68/IP69, NFC, ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, satellite communication, Bluetooth 5.4, and infrared remote control.
Vivo X100 Ultra debuted in May this year, we can expect the successor to debut around the same timeline. Since the phone never made it to India, the successor may also not debut in the country, unless Vivo has a change of plan.
