  • The pictures clicked through Nord 4’s camera are appearing overexposed, as per some users.
  • This is after updating the device to the latest OxygenOS 15 software update.

OnePlus started seeding the OxygenOS 15-based Android 15 stable update to the Nord 4 earlier this month. However, the latest software version is making the smartphone’s camera unusable. Multiple users who updated to the latest OS are encountering issues and have shared their experience on the brand’s official community forum. The brand is yet to acknowledge the camera problem. Read on to know the details below.

  • As per one user, the OnePlus Nord 4 (review) is facing problems when clicking images in low light. There is a noticeable noise and lack of details in the photo that the user has shared.
  • Two more users posted a separate set of images after updating their unit to the latest OyxgenOS 15-based Android 15 update.

  • However, the final result is quite overexposed and lacks contrasts. The photos look washed out and there is also some noise, according to users who posted the images.
  • It seems that the phone’s camera is facing some exposure issue.
  • Other users have also shared similar problems in the comment section.

OnePlus has acknowledged the issue through the Feedback app that is used to submit bug reports and suggestions. A new version is said to be released in a few days although the specific timeline remains unclear. It is expected to be rolled out over the air and that should fix issues related to the camera on the OnePlus Nord 4.

The OnePlus Nord 4 has a dual-rear camera setup of a 50MP main sensor paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. It has a 16MP selfie snapper. The device features a 120Hz 1.5K AMOLED display and is powered by a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor. It is backed by a 5,500mAh battery cell with support for 100W fast charging. The phone is eligible for 4 years of OS updates.
