Tecno Camon 40 Pro 4G battery possibly revealed via TUV Rheinland certification | Tech Tips
The Tecno Camon 30 series debuted globally earlier this year at MWC 2024. Later, the Camon 30 5G and Camon 30 Premier 5G were launched in India. It looks like the brand is now gearing up to introduce the successor, presumably the Tecno Camon 40 lineup. The phones were earlier spotted on the EEC and IMEI platforms. Among them is the Tecno CM06, which has now appeared on TUV Rheinland.

- The TUV Rheinland certification (via) shows the model number CM06, which is believed to be the Camon 40 Pro 4G. The brand mentioned is ‘Tecno’.
- The phone was earlier spotted on the IMEI database with the same model number and marketing name ‘Camon 40 Pro 4G‘.
- The TUV listing reveals the phone may house a 5,100mAh battery.
- Not much else is revealed about the phone from the certification.
Besides the Tecno Camon 40 Pro 4G, so far three other models were also spotted online: the Tecno Camon 40 Pro 5G (CM7), Camon 40 (CM5), and Camon 40 Premier (CM8). Among them, the Camon 40 Pro 5G was spotted on Geekbench last month and this revealed 8GB RAM, Android 15 OS, and an octa-core processor, believed to be the Dimensity 7300 SoC with Mali G615 MC2 GPU. The phone managed to score 1034 in the single-core round and 3257 in the multi-core segment of Geekbench.
For context, the Tecno Camon 30 lineup included a total of six models: the Camon 30, Camon 30 5G, Camon 30 Pro 5G, Camon 30 Premier, Camon 30S, and Camon 30S Pro. However, only the Camon 30 Premier and Camon 30 5G were launched in India in May at a starting price of Rs 22,999. It should be seen whether the company will bring more models to the country this time or be limited to select options.
