OnePlus Ace 5 series launch date, configurations, colour options revealed | Tech Tips

OnePlus has officially confirmed the launch date of the Ace 5 series smartphones in China. The lineup will consist of the standard and pro models. Key details of the upcoming offerings have surfaced in the recent days. The brand will also be announcing a new tablet and TWS earphones at the same event. Apart from revealing the event date, OnePlus has also confirmed the configurations and colour options of the OnePlus Ace 5 phones. 

OnePlus Ace 5 series to debut at the end of this month

• The OnePlus Ace 5 series is set to launch in China on December 26, Thursday. 
• The launch event will start at 14:30 local time (12 pm IST). 
• The upcoming smartphones are confirmed to arrive in five RAM and storage configurations.
• These include 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB. 
• The Ace 5 will be offered in Full Speed Black, Gravitational Titanium, and Celestial Procelain colours. 
• Meanwhile, the colour options on the Ace 5 Pro are Submarine Black, White Moon Procelain, and Starry Purple. 

• Both phones have a similar design with a circular camera island on the back panel and a flat frame with alert slider on the left. 
• The Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro are already confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Elite processors respectively. 

OnePlus’s Ace 5 series announcement comes after the brand’s global branch confirmed the OnePlus 13’s launch in January 7 for the international markets. The Ace 5 will be releasing as a rebadged OnePlus 13R outside China. The latter’s predecessor, the OnePlus 12R, launched at a starting price tag of Rs 39,999 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Meanwhile, the Ace 5 Pro will be limited to its home market similar to its predecessor, the Ace 3 Pro. 

In another poster, OnePlus confirmed the launch of the OnePlus Pad and Buds Ace 2 in China on December 26. The former is expected to be a mid-range offer and may debut globally as the successor to the OnePlus Pad Go 2.
