Yesterday, OnePlus confirmed the Winter Launch event where it will unveil the OnePlus 13 series and the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 TWS. Now the brand has explicitly announced that the OnePlus 13R will be tagging along with the premium OnePlus 13. OnePlus has also shared some key details of its mid-range flagship offering. It will be arriving as the successor to the OnePlus 12R. 

OnePlus 13R key details confirmed 

  • The OnePlus 13R will be arriving in Astrail Trail and Nebula Noir colours. Both are said to be inspired by mother nature with the former having a star trail like finish. 
  • The smartphone is confirmed to be backed by a massive 6,000mAh battery unit compared to 5,500mAh that powers the 12R. 
  • Design-wise, it has a circular camera module housing three sensors on the back panel which is similar to the OnePlus 13. 
  • The side aluminium frame on the OnePlus 13R seems to be slightly more flatter than the premium offering. It is said to be 8mm thin. 
  • On the front, the device features a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout display surrounded by thin bezels. 
  • OnePlus is moving away from the slimmer profile and curved screen seen on the OnePlus 12R. 
  • The front and the back of the upcoming mid-range device will be shielded by the newly developed Gorilla Glass 7i. 
  • The OnePlus 13R is confirmed to come with OnePlus AI features such as AI Notes, AI Imaging Power, and an Intelligent Search. 
  • The smartphone is also confirmed to be available on Amazon and the microsite says that the brand will provide OnePlus’s green line worry-free solution. 

OnePlus is expected to reveal more details about its upcoming devices in the days leading up to the launch event. The OnePlus 13R will be a rebadged version of the OnePlus Ace 5 that is set to launch in China this month. To recall, its predecessor debuted at a starting price tag of Rs 39,999 in India.
