Realme 14x battery and fast charging confirmed ahead of launch | Tech Tips

Realme 14x is scheduled to launch in India on December 18th. It is the first Realme 14-series phone to debut and should be followed by the Realme 14 Pro soon considering the company already released teasers. Ahead of the 14x launch next week, the company has now confirmed its battery and fast charging details through a new poster image.

• The Realme 14x is confirmed to ship with a 6,000mAh battery, a sizeable upgrade from the 5,000mAh cell on the Realme 12x.
• The company claims the battery can last two days, with 45.4 hours of talk time, 15.8 hours of video playback, and up to 18 hours of social media use.
• The battery will be paired with 45W fast charging support similar to the previous model.

• The Flipkart microsite has images of the phone, which now shows a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper.
• This should have support for Realme’s mini-capsule to show certain activities like music, charging alerts and more.
• The Realme 14x will be available in three colours: red, gold, and black options. It is already confirmed to feature an IP69 water and dust resistance rating.

While the other specifications remain under wraps for the moment, the Realme 14x is tipped to ship with a 6.67-inch HD+ display, compared to the 6.72-inch of the Realme 12x. The handset will be available in three configurations: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. The teaser images confirm the Realme 14x will have dual-camera sensors on the back, with the primary sensor being a 50MP unit.

The Realme 14x price in India is teased to be under Rs 15,000, presumably for the base model. The Realme 12x in India has a starting price of Rs 11,999. More features of the phone should be revealed in the next few days.
