nubia Flip II complete design, key specs revealed on TENAA, MIIT certification sites | Tech Tips

nubia launched its first foldable phone the nubia Flip 5G, at MWC 2024. The ZTE-owned brand is reportedly working on the successor, the nubia Flip II. 91mobiles Indonesia has now spotted the nubia Flip II on TENAA and MIIT revealing the foldable’s complete design and key specifications. Since nubia doesn’t sell its smartphones in India, it’s unlikely that the foldable will arrive here.

• The nubia Flip II has appeared on the Chinese certification website, TENAA. This listing has several images of the foldable phone revealing its complete design. 
• Based on these images, the nubia Flip II will look quite different from the first model. There’s a rectangular cover display with two cameras and a ring instead of the circular cover display on the nubia Flip.
• The new nubia foldable also appears to have an orange-coloured button on the right side. 
• The nubia Flip II has been spotted in a light blue colour, which is also new for the foldable. nubia is expected to release the foldable in more colours.

The nubia Flip II was spotted on MIIT as well and this listing confirms its key specifications. nubia Flip II carries the model number NX732J and its dimensions are 169.4 x 76 x 7.2 mm. The foldable weighs 193g and supports 5G and 4G LTE. 

Let’s take a look at its specifications:

• Display: The nubia Flip II has a 3-inch AMOLED cover display with 422 x 682 pixels resolution and a 6.85-inch AMOLED interior display with 1,188 x 2,970 pixels resolution. A major upgrade here is the cover display, which is now bigger than the nubia Flip II’s 1.43-inch cover display. 
• Cameras: The foldable has been listed with 50MP and 2MP rear cameras and a 32MP punch-hole camera for selfies. The rear cameras are the same as the nubia Flip but the front camera has been upgraded from a 16MP sensor. 
• RAM and storage: The phone will be available in 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB RAM variants; 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options. The nubia Flip II launched with 8GB and 12GB variants. 
• Battery: According to the listing, the nubia Flip II will pack a 4,225mAh battery. This would be a downgrade as the nubia Flip has a 4,310mAh battery.
